Acteno energy performance
The acteno energy performance management supports operational and technical energy management in organizations of all sizes.
Through the fully web-based and multi-tenant solution, acteno energy provides a platform for your energy data and energy processes. The acteno epm is the key to ensuring energy efficiency and productivity sustainably within the organization. In conjunction with acteno energy metering, energy data is collected and can be assigned to individual locations and units. This forms the basis for visualizations, energy-related, and operational optimizations with acteno epm.
Acteno epm is modular and can be customized according to your specific requirements. The platform serves as the central data hub for your energy data, providing analyses, reports, dashboards, and statistical evaluations. This gives you real-time access to your energy data and full control over the energy used and produced.
With easy-to-use analysis options, you can quickly determine the energy quality of your locations, units, facilities, etc. This reduces administrative overhead.
If you’re responsible for a variety of locations and want to compare the energy quality of individual objects, plan efficiency measures, and optimize them continuously, acteno energy performance management compares the collected measurement data with your metrics. For example, it provides insights into metrics such as electricity consumption per square meter and the base load.
We answer your questions
- What is the energy consumption at one site / throughout the entire organization?
- What feed-in was achieved with a CHP / a PV system?
- When were the highest loads measured?
- How good is the quality of supply?
- What energy costs were incurred where and when?
Your benefits
- Complete transparency about your supply quality and energy consumption
- Trace load profiles with high-resolution metering data
- Support in complying with ISO 50001, atypical grid usage, or individual grid fees.
- Avoid exceeding load limits
- Reliable planning for your business actions
- Identify and implement energy-saving potentials
Monitoring
With energy monitoring, you gain comprehensive insights into your energy data. This includes load profiles as well as various network quality parameters, which are captured as part of the metering operation.
acteno energy centrally provides the data for your company and takes care of all requirements for data transmission, processing, and plausibility checks.
With energy monitoring, you not only get to view individual characteristics but also have the option to compare multiple energy parameters, generate statistics, trends, or continuous operation curves.
Load Profile Analysis
The load profile analysis provides a detailed insight into the time-dependent energy consumption. By assigning it to systems, operating times, and processes, potentials for efficiency improvement emerge. A load profile analysis also supports procurement optimization. Various tools are used for this purpose:
- General load profile
- Determination of consumption trends
- Identification of load peaks and high-load periods
- Load distribution as a load profile characteristic
- Period comparison
Selection of Different Time Periods, Locations & Units
Captured energy data can be displayed in freely definable time periods, with the user being free to select any locations or individual units. Time comparisons can be made with daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly views. An additional subdivision by specific weekdays is possible at any time.
- Comparison of feed-in, consumption, self-consumption
- Planning and monitoring of self-generation
- Active and reactive power
- Analyses of power supply quality
Statistics
Statistics such as base load, minimum, maximum, average values, self-consumption share, are available on demand for one or multiple locations. For more detailed analyses, statistics can also be selected at the level of individual installations.
Application areas include:
- Detecting downtime of generation plants
- Monitoring energy consumption at a site
- Power monitoring for reducing power prices
- Support for energy-related applications, such as non-typical grid utilization
Alerting
Being informed in a timely manner about unforeseen results is part of the monitoring process. This allows significant deviations to be immediately recognized, rather than waiting until the receipt of the energy quantity invoice. Individual users and groups can be defined for each type and location. Users can set thresholds themselves or be automatically notified of predefined events.
Additionally, a log is kept for each individual site, providing comprehensive information about when, where, and how each notification was received.
- Notification for minima / maxima exceedances
- Notification for exceeding operating hours on operating hour counters
- Detecting unusual consumption patterns
- Notification via email / SMS for deviations
